Brentford striker Ivan Toney is under investigation by the Football Association over allegations he gambled on football during his career.
The 26-year-old, who is hoping to be part of England’s World Cup squad this month, has been at the centre of an investigation which has been ongoing for several months.
Toney, who has scored eight Premier League goals for Brentford this season, was in England’s last squad during the September international break but did not make an appearance for Gareth Southgate’s side.
According to MailOnline, Toney is alleged to have gambled while he was playing in the lower divisions and before he joined Brentford in 2020.
