Over time, he has become popular for his catchphrase 'Buongiorno pescheria' and humorous videos about his work. But it was not long until people began pointing out the likeness, saying that Gigi is Zelensky's doppelganger. 'Good morning Mr President,' comments read under his posts. One user joked: 'I think he will soon be offered a job with us in Ukraine.' Another comment said: 'Volodymyr, you speak Italian so well!' Though Gigi does not wear Zelensky's statement clothing of olive-green top with the Ukrainian trident on the chest, cargo pants and work boots, the resemblance cannot be denied. Some people pointed out that he resembles the Ukrainian leader not only in his appearance, but also in facial expressions and gestures. His content even made it on Ukrainian news channels, and Gigi has since released a video welcoming the doppelganger claims.
