The Met Office has issued three yellow weather warnings for storms and heavy rain affecting regions stretching from Wales to the South East of England including London.
A new warning for thunderstorms across the south coast runs from 8pm today until 6am tomorrow.
Another new warning for thunderstorms covers parts of South Wales and the South West of England from 3pm until midnight today.
Meanwhile, a warning of heavy rain and potential flooding is in place in London, Kent, Sussex and stretching as far west as Southampton until 3pm today.
