 quest for justice is brought to a close in Coronation Street, the story isn't completely over as past actions once again impact his future with Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King). Stu's daughter, Bridget (Beth Vyse) told her dad the truth about Charlie's death a few weeks ago, explaining that she killed Charlie in a state of anger and jealousy, aware her dad was having an affair and could not understand why Stu would rather spend time with Charlie than his own family. With Bridget and Lucy (Lynda Rooke) now in prison, young Eliza – Stu's granddaughter – currently doesn't have a stable home. Bridget asked her dad to look after Eliza but because his name hadn't been cleared, social services explained that Eliza would have to go into care. Next week, Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) arrives to collect Stu and they head to the court hearing. Returning home, Stu is exhausted, but he has good news – the conviction was overturned. Sadly, Stu also brings bad news back with him and tells Yasmeen that if Eliza is to live with him, he'll have to move out as she needs her own room. But what will Yasmeen say?
