 Six new games are being added to Game Pass this month, including the classic Limbo and Celeste, and the appropriately named A Short Hike. That's not a complaint you could hold against A Short Hike, though, which will take most people less than two hours to complete and yet feels like it's the perfect length for the experience it wants to get across. It's one of six new titles being added to Xbox Game Pass this month, along with Celeste, Airborne Kingdom, Broforce Forever, Limbo, and Everspace 2. Award-winning 2D platformer Celeste is already live and is available on Xbox, PC, and via the cloud. Meanwhile, A Short Hike goes live on Thursday, August 3. After that it's Broforce Forever on August 8, Limbo on August 9, Airborne Kingdom on August 10, and Everspace 2 on August 15. Everspace 2 is only on cloud and Xbox Series X/S, while the other games are all on PC, both Xbox consoles, and the cloud. Broforce Forever is the new DLC content for the okay-ish run 'n' gun shooter Broforce. The Game Pass version seems to include both the new content and the original game, so you get both at the same time. Limbo is pretty old now but it's still a classic 2D platformer adventure, with its melancholy atmosphere and influential visuals, that eventually led to Inside and a bevvy of copycats. By comparison, Airborne Kingdom is pretty obscure – a city building game set in the clouds, while Everspace 2 is a sci-fi action role-player that's been out on PC since April but is coming to Xbox day one on Game Pass.
