WORRIED Chelsea have sent Reece James for a scan on his knee – just days before teammates depart for a gruelling pre-season tour to the USA.
James, 23, has been one of Chelsea’s star players ever since his debut in 2019.
But injury problems limited him to just 16 league appearances last season.
And Chelsea received a fright this week when James pulled up in training after feeling pain in his troublesome knee.
The England right-back has now been sent for a scan on the problem area.
