 A BBC star who was working at the Women's World Cup 2023 has announced that she's pregnant a day after the tournament came to an end. Sports presenter Kelly Somers shared the exciting news of her pregnancy in a new interview, as she looks forward to welcoming her first child with her fiancé Max, 34, later this year. 'I'm excited that my baby is going to be born in a generation with the Lionesses as role models,' the 32-year-old said. Kelly continued to OK! magazine: 'You see little girls playing in playgrounds and I hear of friends' kids playing football at school. They've made women's football more accessible. They've opened people's eyes.' The presenter, who's worked for broadcasters including the BBC, talkSPORT, Premier League Productions (PLP) and Optus Sport, spoke to the publication before the final took place.
