NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
The first pictures have emerged of the Wagner Group’s new base outside a village in Belarus.
Giant tents have been set up as barracks near the village of Tsel for the group which staged a revolt against Vladimir Putin’s regime in late June.
Following the botched rebellion, Vladimir Putin dropped charges against Wagner soldiers and their chief Yevgeny Prigozhin to avoid ‘bloodshed’.
But Prigozhin was forced into exile in Belarus, where president Aleksandr Lukashenko also offered to station some of the mercenary fighters.
