THE UK’s biggest coffee chain, Costa Coffee, is using an image of a young woman bearing double mastectomy scars on its mobile coffee van currently touring the UK, in order, no doubt, to be seen as “trans friendly”.
A petition – Boycott Costa Coffee: mobilise against mutilation – is gathering pace, with 7,000 signatures as I write.
Known by trans activists as “top surgery”, the removal of healthy breast tissue is becoming something of a fad for young women.
Unlike for those with breast cancer, there is no medical reason to undergo a double mastectomy.
It would appear that Costa is not keen on breasts at all.
