Woman who tipped man out of mobility scooter for not giving her money is jailed

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

A woman who tipped an elderly man out of a mobility scooter after he refused to give her money has been jailed.

The elderly man, who is in his 70s, was approached by Amy Kirkbridge, 29, in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, at around 5.15pm on July 8.

Kirkbridge lifted the front of his scooter with the help of Gary Hammond, 46, and threw him backwards, leaving the victim covered in his shopping.

Kirkbridge and Hammond, who had both been drinking, walked away while members of the public rushed to his assistance.
