 A woman has been charged with manslaughter in connection to the death of an 11-year-old girl in London. Fatiha Sabrin was found unresponsive at a property in Sutton Street, in Shadwell on December 11 2021 and died in hospital later the same day. The Metropolitan Police said Jesmin Akter, 33, of Sutton Street, Shadwell, was also charged with importing a regulated substance. She is due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court on Tuesday August 22. Her family have been informed of the charge and they continue to be supported by family liaison officers.
