A government minister was left squirming in his seat after an audience member blasted the ‘talentless’ Tory government during a discussion about Matt Hancock’s upcoming stint on I’m A Celebrity!
A member of the public has blasted the ‘talentless’ Tory party after Matt Hancock jetted off to become a contestant in this year’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
The woman appeared to leave a cabinet member squirming in his seat during the heated discussion on BBC Question Time, which was broadcast from Horsham in Sussex on Thursday night.
This week’s panel featured policing minister Chris Philp , shadow Northern Ireland secretary Peter Kyle, Economist editor-in-chief Zanny Minton Beddoes, George the Poet and ASDA chairman Lord Stuart.
One of the hottest topics of the evening was over whether sitting MPs should be allowed to take part in reality shows – and an audience member sat a few rows back was not afraid to make her feelings known, commenting: “He should be in Parliament, he’s been elected by his constituents, he should be there working for them.”
