A woman has been accused of “betraying” her friend after leaving her in a foreign country to be with her new fiancé.
Angie*, 45, had been planning a getaway with her pals Cathy, 62, and Lisa, 45, for several months, with Cathy gearing up to take a plane for the first time in her life.
Having got the trip booked in, Lisa had to pull out of the last night’s stay because her work refused to grant all the required time off.
“Months went by, and during this time I met my new fiancé,” Angie wrote on a Reddit thread.
