The Prince and Princess of Wales thought about everything down to the last detail when Prince George was born in 2013 – including a key way to avoid embarrassment
Much like many of his royal relatives before him, Prince George was born at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. The day after he was born (July 23), the little prince made his public debut outside of the Lindo Wing in his parents arms.
The couple happily spoke to the waiting media and revealed everything from how George had a “good set of lungs” to how he already had more hair than Prince William.
While presenting their son to the world’s cameras was clearly a daunting process, the Prince and Princess of Wales had a clever plan to ensure that their departure from the hospital ran as smoothly as possible.
The story was revealed by Kate on Giovanna Fletcher’s podcast ‘Happy Mum, Happy Baby’.
