Crocodile wrangler and conservationist Matt Wright and his team of reptile experts burst onto screens earlier this month in Netflix’s thrilling new reality series, Wild Croc Territory. Sadly, the release of the series coincided with the sudden death of Matt’s right-hand man Chris ‘Willow’ Wilson, aged 34, and the series’ star has opened up exclusively to Express.co.uk about the show’s tragic loss.Matt is still processing the death of his close friend and colleague, Willow, who was killed in a helicopter crash in West Arnhem Land in February this year.The two croc wranglers worked together for several years and appeared in their earlier documentary series Outback Wrangler.He has now spoken out about his reaction to his friend’s death, though he still struggles to relay the details of the tragic incident.’It’s still pretty raw,’ he told Express.co.uk. ‘It’s still pretty fresh.
