Let us know what you think… 'it's time to switch off these shows and watch Titchmarsh or the Sunday Brunch' As someone with a healthy interest in politics, I have been wondering for some time if there is any value in watching the Sunday morning politics-based TV shows. There are a whole lot of questions asked, but in return, very few answers are given. Recently on Sky News, for instance, [Treasury minister] Victoria Atkins refused to answer a simple question on whether she thought painting over a cartoon at an asylum centre was a good thing. Sophy Ridge tried three times to get an answer from her, and failed, then just shrugged her shoulders, said OK and moved on. I am not suggesting Ms Atkins or her party are the only ones guilty of this. All the parties are equally culpable, and this evasiveness and obfuscation helps no one. It's now obvious to me that it's time to switch off these shows and do something more rewarding instead. Maybe I should go for a run, or more sensibly watch Titchmarsh or the Sunday Brunch.
