The report claims that Adams should return after the international break in September, however, Chelsea are now focused on signing Caicedo and Romeo Lavia from Southampton. Liverpool have already had multiple offers for the 19-year-old rejected by the Championship club. Caicedo, meanwhile, is set to become the Premier League's most-expensive player, overtaking the £105m Chelsea spent on signing Enzo Fernandez from Benfica in January.
