So we have to wait sometime more,' said Ten Hag. 'It's difficult to say how that process will go, but I think he's making good progress at this moment. We have to see day by day how the progress will go, then we have to follow up.' The Athletic report that Hojlund is likely to miss United's first three matches against Wolves, Tottenham and Nottingham Forest. But there is optimism that Hojlund will be up to speed by the end of the month. And that means he'll be in line to take on rivals Arsenal at the Emirates on September 3rd. Hojlund's absence comes at a bad time for United, given Anthony Martial remains sidelined with a hamstring strain. The Frenchman has been out of action since May.
