Just a stone's throw from the Wales Coast Path, the chalets are advertised for up to £185 per night and feature on popular accommodation websites such as Booking.com. The buildings boast gorgeous natural views and comprise of a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, pull-out sofa bed, balcony and hot tub. But sadly for John and his family, the luxurious abodes may all now be demolished after the council turned down his application to retain and complete the chalets. John told WalesOnline : "The idea was to always have cabins here. We basically put four sheds in our garden, they are not permanent structures. "We just followed the building regulations and didn't think we'd have any problems." The dad is especially put out after saying bookings had been "flat out" since the waterside chalets were opened for guests a year ago. John, who is considering appealing the decision, added: "We don't understand what the big problem is. There's a massive need for rental accommodation down here, and it provides jobs . "The local pubs , restaurants and takeaways must have seen an increase in business."
