Yellow weather warnings for rain are in place across the UK, leading to an increased risk of flooding. The Met Office have issued alerts for the east coast of Scotland, north eastern England spreading into the Midlands and Wales and the south coast.The yellow alert indicates a small chance of flooding and disruption and warns residents to expect difficult driving conditions due to water spray.The Met Office also warns that disruptions to public transport services are more likely and that some communities may be temporarily cut off by flooded roads.The warning for southern England, encompassing Portsmouth, Brighton and Kent, will cease at 6am on Thursday November 17, however, for most of the country the yellow warning will be in place until midnight.For Scotland the warning will be in effect until 6pm on Friday November 18.
