"We bought this house in 2020 off the gentleman who built it in I think 2011 — and I should have known because he put in a lot of really creative storage ideas," she prefaced her tale. Wearing a purple-hued sweatshirt, she explained that the previous owner had included quite a few smart hacks — but one remained unknown to the new buyers at the time. "By the range here, often I'd be like vacuuming or whatever and I'd like hit this thing and I'm like, damn, this face plate's a little loose," she said as she pointed out the area in question. She even rubbed against it with her foot to show the slight movement. "And same thing with this one," she exclaimed as she moved over to demonstrate the same looseness on the other side of the range. The TikToker continued to recall the moment she first found the mysterious hack: "I'm like, that's weird, I don't want to break anything." The mystery was soon to be unraveled when the curious TikToker's husband went to "pull out the range and clean beside it." "And what does he find? A space rack," she said in disbelief as she pulled out the previously seamless blended-in rack composed of four wooden rows.
