Victoria Beckham has been looking back fondly on her rise to fame as a Spice Girl but admits she and her bandmates became ‘a monster’ during their mission to promote Girl Power
Victoria Beckham says she and her Spice Girls bandmates became “a bit of a monster” as they promoted themselves at the start of their careers in the nineties.
Speaking in a new Netflix series, Posh Spice, 49, admits she never found it as easy as the other four Spice Girls when it came to being outgoing and doing things like jumping on tables, but credits Sporty, Baby, Ginger and Scary with helping her come out of her shell and become less reserved.
The mum-of-four also touches on being bullied “quite a lot” before joining Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton and taking on the world as one of the biggest girl groups of all time. Victoria admits she would probably still be “quite shy” had she never met “the girls”.
Victoria makes the comments in the opening episode of BECKHAM, a new four-part Netflix series about husband David Beckham’s life on and off the football pitch. The revealing series, set to become available to stream on Wednesday, sees Posh and Becks quizzed about past rumoured infidelity rumours in addition to the pair gushing about their romance.
