VERNON Kay has been left heartbroken following the sudden death of his close friend.
The 48-year-old shared his upset with fans today as he paid a moving tribute to Ian Trevor.
Ian was a well-loved paddock character and security manager for Formula E, but worked in security for many years and grew close to Vernon at the start of his career.
Known as ‘Big Ian’ he died suddenly at the age of 61 last week.
The TV presenter shared a picture of them together, telling his followers: “I’m absolutely gutted to hear of the passing of my friend Ian.
