Utility Warehouse launches new £5,000 prize draw for cashback card customers

Utility Warehouse launches new £5,000 prize draw for cashback card customers (Image: Getty) Utility Warehouse (UW) , a multiservice utility supplier in the UK, is offering its customers the chance to win 100 percent cashback on purchases at dozens of popular high street stores. UW customers will also be automatically entered into a daily prize draw every time they use their Cashback Card at a participating retailer. Twelve transactions will be chosen at random each day and will have their cashback boosted to 100 percent, and the winners will share a total prize pot of up to £5,000. The promotion, which began on Thursday, July 13, will run for six months. Andrew Lindsay, co-CEO of Utility Warehouse, commented ‘As UK households continue to face steep increases in the cost of living, our Cashback Card can help reduce monthly outgoings with savings on bills and money off purchases from high street retailers. This means that the winners could enjoy anything from a weekly shop to a new summer wardrobe or homeware all for free. Everyone with a UW Cashback Card, and at least one other UW service – from energy and broadband to insurance – on their UW account, is automatically enrolled to enter the ‘Cashback Magic’ promotion and there are no minimum spend requirements. Those who don’t see their purchases boosted to 100 percent will still be eligible for UW’s usual cashback rewards that are offered on certain purchases. This includes up to 10 percent cashback at participating retailers and one percent back everywhere else they spend, and the money is taken directly off the person’s UW bill. According to the firm, customers used their cards to make more than £500million worth of purchases last year, which collectively generated savings of over £8million on their UW bills. There are currently more than 400,000 UW Cashback Card holders and based on figures extracted from the top 10 percent of users, people can earn an average of £421 worth of cashback rewards. Utility Warehouse is a multiservice utility provider based in the UK, which offers customers a range of products and services through one account. Customers can choose from energy, mobile, broadband, insurance products, and cashback cards, and can get discounts on bills when they take multiple services.
