Other KidZone favourites will not be shut down however, including the E.T. Adventure, Animal Actors on Location!, SpongeBob StorePants – including meet and greets with SpongeBob SquarePants and friends – and KidZone Pizza Company. It is not yet known what will replace the attractions, but the resort has teased that it will "immerse guests in the adventures of beloved animated characters" in its KidZone. The KidZone is undergoing a serious change According to the theme park experts at Orlando Park Stop, rumours about what could move into the area have been circulating for a long time. At one point Pokemon was tipped for a takeover, while some have suggested new concepts based on DreamWorks or Illumination animated films. "If I were to guess though, and this is just a guess, DreamWorks' Trolls would be my front-runner to receive an attraction of some sort," Orlando Park Stop writes. "They are a fan-favourite with kids, and they seem to sell a lot of merchandise." Some fan favourites are being removed There are plenty of other new attractions to enjoy during a visit to Orlando. Last year Universal launched the Jurassic World VelociCoaster, which allows visitors to embark on a high speed dash through the park's Velociraptor paddock.
