Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “will not show” their disappointment at being snubbed for an Emmy, a royal expert has claimed.
The nominations for this year’s awards were announced earlier this week. but the couple’s record-breaking six-part Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan didn’t make the cut. The news comes as a surprise to some as experts were “100% confident” that it would take home a prize.
But royal expert Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, told The Mirror that the famous couple were “unhappy” but added that they will “of course not show it”. She adds that the couple are concrete on making this outcome positive however upset they may be.
Harry & Meghan, which was directed by Liz Garbus, broke Netflix’s record for biggest documentary debut with more than 81.6 million hours watched within four days of airing in December of 2022. The show averaged over 4.5 million viewers in the first week – a shocking number that beats the viewership of both the hit shows Stranger Things and The Crown.
