The 23-year-old made headlines last year when she began a romance with Tony Garnett, 30, who left his partner of 10 years and two children to be with her after the family took her in as a refugee. Sofiia fled the Russian invasion and travelled from Lviv to West Yorkshire, where she stayed with them for less than two weeks before ending up in a relationship with Tony. Tony then split from his long-term partner and started living in a new property with Karkadym. Ex-wife Lorna claimed the refugee wore "low cut tops and red lipstick" around the house in an attempt to lure in her boyfriend. But the dad cut Karkadym out of his life in October following a series of rows, before reportedly flying out to see her while she stayed back in Ukraine last winter in an attempt to win her back. The couple are understood to have split again since. Karkadym was charged with a Section 39 Assault and a Section 1 Assault on an emergency worker after an incident at her ex's flat last year saw her allegedly bite a police officer, according to the MailOnline. She was seen sticking her middle finger up at a photographer outside Bradford Magistrates Court earlier this week. Bradford Magistrates' Court confirmed that Karkadym, of no fixed address, had pleaded guilty to the charge of assault by beating of an emergency worker when she appeared in court.
