The schedule for the top 16 players at the UK Championship has been revealed, with the world’s elite heading straight to the Barbican in York starting on 12 November.
There has been a big change to the tournament this year, with qualifying now running from 5-10 November in Sheffield, then 16 qualifiers joining the top 16 in York.
It is the same set-up as the World Championship, when previously 128 players all went straight to York for the full event.
The top players are yet to discover their opponents, with a draw to take place after qualification finishes on 10 November, but they do know when they will be at the table in York.
Defending champion Zhao Xintong opens the show on the Saturday morning, with in-form Mark Allen also playing in that session coming off his Northern Ireland Open win.
