Experts at Faraway Furniture assessed the most popular villages on Instagram to help the holidaying public choose their next getaway destination, placing the charming Cotswold locale of Bibury in the 14th spot globally. A chocolate box village nestled in southwest England, Bibury is a short drive from the so-called 'Cotswolds Capital' of Cirencester, Gloucestershire and just over two hours by car from London. It was named by artist and textile designer William Morris as the 'most beautiful village' in the country, and is home to the famous Arlington Row – some of the most photographed cottages in the country. This cute row of houses was first constructed in 1380 as a monastic wool store before being converted into a row of weavers' cottages during the 17th century. Visitors can also soak up the countryside with hiking or fishing, or enjoy the many quaint pubs, restaurants and cafes dotted around the streets of Bibury.
