NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Two and a Half Men star Jon Cryer has reunited with his co-star on the picket line, and he looks quite different these days.
The 58-year-old actor has joined the US union Sag-Aftra strike, which is due to multiple reasons, including a lack of fair pay for actors as well as the need for assurance about the rise of AI and the potential for it to use an actors’ likeness.
It comes in the middle of the strike from the Writers’ Guild of America (WGA) which began in May after failure to reach an agreement with trade association Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) over pay.
Jon, who played Alan Harper in the popular sitcom from 2003 to 2015 saw a familiar face at the Los Angeles protest – his former work wife April Bowlby was also there to support the cause.
