Elon Musk is expected to welcome back Donald Trump onto Twitter after the billionaire completed his £38 billion takeover of the site.
The Tesla CEO now plans to reverse the former President’s lifetime ban and as he announced he celebrated his successful acquisition of the social media company.
Musk triumphantly posted about his purchase, tweeting “the bird is freed” and immediately firing several top executives in what is being seen as his first power move.
The social media site’s CEO, Parag Agrawal, the chief financial officer Ned Segal, and the top lawyer for the firm, Vijaya Gadde, were culled just hours after the world’s richest man completed his acquisition.
