Trump tweet about topless photos of Kate sparked rage from William and Charles

A TWEET by Donald Trump blaming the Princess of Wales when topless photos of her were published sparked “torrents of profanity” from Prince William and King Charles, a new book reveals.

Pictures of Kate sunbathing in Provence, France, were published in French magazine Closer in 2012

The former US president, 76, tweeted: “Kate Middleton is great – but she shouldn’t be sunbathing in the nude – only herself to blame.”

In the biography, The King: The Life of Charles III, Christopher Andersen wrote: “Trump’s criticism of Kate resulted in what one Clarence House butler referred to as ‘torrents of profanity’ from both Charles and his sons.”

The Royals sued Closer and Kate won £92,000 in damages.
