The £44m season finale of LIV Golf is being held at Trump’s National Doral Course and the former US president took part in the Pro-Am event on Thursday
Donald Trump has suggested LIV Golf has ‘unlimited money’ as he prepares to host the inaugural season finale at his golf course.
Stars from the Saudi-backed breakaway circuit will descend on the Trump National Doral course in Miami for this weekend’s event, which is worth around £44m.
It is the second LIV event to be hosted at one of the former US president’s courses, following the competition in Bedminster in July.
Trump, an avid golfer, has aligned himself with the competition since its inception and told PGA Tour stars to ‘”take the money now” ahead of that event in the summer.
