Trump calls on Supreme Court he appointed one-third of to intervene in legal woes

Donald Trump lashed out after he was arraigned in a Washington DC court yesterday and called on the Supreme Court to intervene in his legal battles amid his presidential bid

Former President Donald Trump today called on the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) to “intercede” in his legal battles as he bids to become president for a second time.

Trump faces a raft of legal problems compounded by his appearance in a courtroom in Washington DC yesterday after he was indicted on four counts related to alleged attempts to undermine the 2020 election. He now faces 78 charges in total with a potential for over 600 years in prison if maximum penalties were to be applied.

On his Truth Social media platform, the 45th president, 77, said the money he was being forced to spend on legal fees amounted to “election interference.”

He said: “CRAZY! My political opponent has hit me with a barrage of weak lawsuits, including D.A., A.G., and others, which require massive amounts of my time & money to adjudicate.
