Trump accused of ‘spouting lies’ amid Pelosi conspiracy

Following the attack at 2:30 am local time, Paul underwent surgery for a fractured skull and injuries to his arm and hands. The speaker was not at the residence at the time of the attack, but quick connections were drawn between the incident and the January 6 Capitol Hill riots where rioters were trying to find her.A number of conspiracy theories have since emerged from key right-wing figures with Donald Trump Jr posting jokes online about the incident and many saying that the broken glass was found outside the door, indicating a ‘break out’.Fox News host Jesse Watters said: ‘How did this homeless durg addict even get inside the house?’No one has been able to give us a straight answer about that. Now, there was glass broken at the rear door. We’ve seen those photos, but there looks like there’s glass on both sides, inside and out.’The theories have been debunked by police officials, but it has not stopped former President Donald Trump from joining in. But the window was broken in and it was strange the cops were standing there practically from the moment it all took place.’San Francisco Police Chief William Scott told CNN: ‘There is absolutely no evidence that Mr Pelosi knew this man.’As a matter of fact, the evidence indicates the exact opposite.’DON’T MISS: Russian missile lands in pro-NATO Moldova sparking WW3 fears (INSIGHT)Protesters to hold vigil at migrant processing centre (REVEAL)Prince Louis has not reached one royal milestone yet (ANALYSIS) Police have debunked the conspiracy theories (Image: Getty)Charging documents which were released on Monday showed that prior to the conspiracy theories taking hold, DePape, 42, ‘stated that he broke into the house through a glass door, which was a difficult task that required the use of a hammer’.This information was made public before Mr Watter’s show aired and before Trump ran with Watter’s comments on the Pelosi break in.Alongside this, former Las Vegas detective Randy Sutton told Mr Watters: ‘There’s glass on both sides. However – Now, I’ve investigated a ton of burglaries and forcible entries using glass – that is not that unusual.’Washington Post columnist EJ Dionne slammed the former President on Twitter saying that he was ‘at it again on Tuesday, spouting lies to feed conspiracy theories’.
