Around 60 people were injured on Monday at Travis Scott’s Rome concert.
The sold-out event at Circus Maximus reportedly caused a slight earthquake and fans to be pepper sprayed. Over 60,000 fans showed up to watch the rapper perform his new Utopia album, which included a surprise appearance by Kanye West. But for dozens of fans, the show may have ended with medical treatment.
According to Complex, a local Italian news agency reported “around 60 people” were treated for “eye and throat irritation” reportedly from pepper spray.
Travis’ Rome concert also caused a non-pepper spray related injury, as it was reported by CNN that a 14-year-old was trying to sneak into the show and fell from a four meter tall wall. There’s no word on the severity of their injuries.
