Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham are all on the hunt for more incomings this transfer window but could also see some stars leave
Manchester United have agreed a £72million deal with Atalanta for Rasmus Hojlund. The Red Devils will pay £64m up front for the Denmark international, who is expected to sign a five-year deal and will undergo his United medical on Tuesday.
Hojlund’s new boss Erik ten Hag is also an admirer of Sofyan Amrabat, who is believed to be keen on a move to Manchester from Fiorentina. It is believed that United do have the funds to pull off such a deal even after forking out £72m on Hojlund.
Bayern Munich held more talks with Tottenham over talisman Harry Kane, but it has been reported that the German giants are still around £25m short of Spurs’ valuation of their record goalscorer. There is still sufficient time in the window for Bayern to match that price tag and pull off one of the summer’s most high-profile deals.
Liverpool are out of the running for Kylian Mbappe, who faces a deadline of his own at Paris Saint-Germain tonight, but the Merseysiders are set to launch a second bid for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.
