The surgery left new parents Luke and Frankie 'terrified' as they waited for good news that Logan's surgery had gone well, and the tiny tot would pull through. Frankie Essex has revealed the scary moment her four-month-old son Logan had to have emergency surgery Speaking in her OK! column, Frankie said: "So on Monday morning we went to the doctors and by Monday night, something didn't feel right so we took him to A&E. He ended up being put in an ambulance to another hospital. Then the next day he had a scan so they could confirm that it was an abscess. "He then had to go to the Royal London hospital – so the third hospital – to have it removed." The former TOWIE star described the ordeal as 'terrifying' for her and Luke, and although they asked for a different way to remove the abscess they were told surgery was the only option. Whilst Logan was apparently fine throughout, he still needed to stay in hospital for five days. Their baby boy suffered a health scare after routine vaccination After Logan's surgery, Frankie revealed she has launched a complaint at her GP as the abscess is thought to be the result of Logan's routine vaccinations. Frankie spoke to the medical team where Logan had his surgery, and said: "I presumed it was a bit common because babies have vaccinations every single day and they have to have three lots – but every doctor and nurse I spoke to said they'd never seen it in a baby."
