Micky Van de Ven insists Tottenham’s flying start is no surprise to him.
And the Dutch defender insists getting back into the Champions League was always the target – and “fearless” Spurs are not ruling out an unlikely title challenge.â Van de Ven has played a huge part in Tottenham ‘s impressive start to the campaign which has put them up to second place in the Premier League after their first win over Liverpool since 2017.
Centre-half Van de Ven said: “It’s early too say if we are title candidates this year but we will keep pushing, keep pushing and we’re gonna see. We want the best this season so we’re gonna see where it will end.â
