The goalkeeper has been heavily linked with a move away from North London this summer. A brief statement on the official club website reads: "Hugo Lloris has been granted permission not to travel in order to explore prospective transfer opportunities." Lloris has previously admitted that he wants to leave Tottenham. In an interview with Nice–Matin, he said: "We have reached an important moment, whether it be for the club or me. "It's the end of an era. I have a desire for something else. I will carefully study what is possible. "However, I haven't forgotten that I have a year left on my contract at Tottenham, and in football, it's always hard to predict what will happen. 'The most important thing is I find a project where I thrive.' Tottenham have already found a replacement for the Frenchman, who made his last Spurs appearance in the club's 6-1 defeat to Newcastle in April. Guglielmo Vicario joined the Lilywhites in a £16million transfer from from Empoli last month. The Italian has been named as one of the players in Postecoglou's squad, along with fellow new boy James Maddison. England international Maddison swapped Leicester for London in a £45million move earlier this summer.
