 Ange Postecoglou says he shared a 'good chat' with Harry Kane about their respective visions for Tottenham while he is paying no attention to Bayern Munich's pursuit of the striker. Kane, who only has one year left on his contract, has been the subject of two bids from the German champions – the most recent of which was worth £68.5million plus add-ons – but both have been rejected. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy still hopes to convince the England captain to sign a new deal to stay in north London, though Bayern's honorary president Uli Hoeness claims Kane has given his word that he wants to join the Bundesliga champions. New boss Postecoglou stopped short of offering any assurances over Kane's long-term future at the club but says his conversations with the 29-year-old have been positive. Speaking at a press conference in Perth on Monday ahead of facing West Ham in Spurs' first pre-season friendly, the Aussie coach said: 'I had a good chat with Harry. As I said before, nothing earth-shattering or defining from I guess what people are seeking. Just a good chat. 'I introduced myself and we spoke mainly about the club and where he thinks it's at and where he thinks we can improve things. (We've been) training ever since, it's been good.' Asked if he has sold his vision to Kane, he continued: 'It's not a specific vision for one person, it's about the group. Me and Harry were perfectly aligned in that, we want to see a successful team this year.
