 An Emmerdale fan got more than they were expecting recently when they went on an organised tour of the show's set in the Yorkshire Dales – and got their hands on a top secret script. The Emmerdale Village Tour allows fans to explore the famous village and go behind the scenes at the location, which is set in the Harewood Estate. The tour involves highlights such as the Woolpack and David (Matthew Wolfenden)'s shop, and guides are on hand to point out where the characters live and give a glimpse into what goes into making the beloved soap. Last month a visitor managed to get more than a glimpse when they spotted something interesting in a bin on the set. Visitors had been told that the bins weren't props and could be used as normal, so when the unnamed person needed to dispose of a bottle they went to put it in a bin. 'I just went to put a plastic bottle in and all of a sudden I saw the scripts, so I snapped a photo of them.' What they'd found was a script which revealed upcoming storylines, including some interesting developments in the story that's currently running about Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) being adopted. The scripts involved Jai's storyline (Picture: ITV) Viewers have seen Jai struggling with this news and know that Rishi (Bhasker Patel) is holding something back – the identity of who Jai's biological father was. Bhasker Patel recently told us that Rishi does finally tell Jai the truth, but as Jai and Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy)'s wedding is coming up the reveal is sure to be dramatic.
