Top Gear is back and better than ever, with Paddy McGuinness, Freddie Flintoff and Chris Harris testing out the weirdest and most wonderful cars the world has to offer. In episode one of series 33, Chris Harris tested a brand new all-electric supercar from Croatia – the Rimac Nevera. He said: ‘Croatia is a lovely place. Cracking seafood scene. But not one with a history of building fast cars. Or any history of building any cars.’But this Navera could be the car to put Croatia on the car map because it’s built by a company called Rimac.’The company is younger than a decade old, but is already being compared to Aston Martin, Porsche and Ferrari. The Navera is built completely from scratch, with the only non-Rimac components being the tyres and a few parts of the air conditioning.READ MORE: Electric bin lorry ‘upcycled’ by losing diesel engine may be UK-ready Top Gear’s Chris Harris tells petrol supercar makers to ‘give up’.
