Tom Brady makes feelings clear ahead on emotional return to New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are hosting Tom Brady to celebrate his career and resounding success with the AFC East team after the quarterback – who won six Super Bowls in Foxborough – retired

Tom Brady is excited to return to Gillette Stadium for a celebration of his tenure with the New England Patriots following two decades of remarkable success with the franchise.

Back in February, Brady announced he was retiring from the NFL after a 23-year career with the Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His decision came following a torrid 2022 campaign in which the seven-time Super Bowl champion struggled with issues in his personal life.

In May, Pats owner Robert Kraft announced Brady would be honoured at the franchise’s opening game at Gillette Stadium against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Sept. 10. Brady spent his first 20 seasons in New England, winning six Super Bowls before concluding his career with the Buccaneers, where he won a seventh Lombardi Trophy.

The 46-year-old is the only player to win more than five Super Bowls in his career, and he has been named Super Bowl MVP on five occasions times. Brady retired as the league’s all-time leader in passing yards (89,214), touchdown passes (649), regular season wins (251) and a number of other records to be considered by many as the greatest quarterback in NFL history.
