Other prominent male celebrities recognised for their attractive hairstyles in the first annual competition included singer Harry Styles, American rapper A$AP Rocky, Grey's Anatomy actor Patrick Dempsey and Canadian singer The Weeknd. Filling up the female category was American actresses Julianne Moore and Zendaya, Little Mermaid actress and singer Halle Bailey and model Hailey Bieber. To make their decision, judges had to select from a variety of types of hairstyles which had 100 celebrities make the "cut". In the end, they opted for Timothee's look of longer layers, kept shaggy around the hairline and ears, and longer on top so that it falls into the eyes as their overall winner. The Princess of Wales has also become celebrated for her signature glossy blow-dried waves, while Zendaya has a butterfly bob which is heavily layered, with a feathery style.
