Tiger Woods has only played in three Major competitions in 2022 but will reportedly link up with Rory McIlroy against Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth in December
Tiger Woods is reportedly set to team up with Rory McIlroy in a star-studded line-up in the latest instalment of ‘The Match’.
Woods has only played in three competitions this year and continues to struggle with the impact of the injuries sustained in a car crash in 2021.
After the Open in July, he dismissed suggestions he would retire and vowed to manage his body in order to appear on the course before the end of the year. And the 15-time Major winner could be back in December after signing up to play 12 holes at the Pelican Club in Florida, reports Golf Digest.
It is claimed Woods and McIlroy will join forces to take on Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth under the floodlights on December 10. The pair recently partnered for a new technology company.
