Three wild theories behind doomed MH370 flight

The final flight of the Malaysia Airlines MH370 flight left Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia on March 8, 2014, and vanished without trace with all 239 passengers and crew on board believed to be dead

Ten years without answers aboutthe doomed MH370 flight has lead conspiracy theorists to offer wild theories on what happened to the cursed aircraft.

On March 8, 2014, a Malaysia Airlines plane carrying 239 people took off from Kuala Lumpur headed to Beijing, but mysteriously vanished while being handed over from Malaysian to Vietnamese air-traffic control when the transponder, which pins the aircraft’s location, shut down.

The flight failed to reach its destination and the passengers’ families have not heard anything from their loved ones 10 years on.Hard evidence includes three pieces of wreckage thought to have come from the plane found as far north as Tanzania and as far south as South Africa.

Investigators have worked extensively since the plane vanished. However, despite releasing a 1,500-page report, they admitted they still cannot say what happened. “In conclusion, the team is unable to determine the real cause for the disappearance of MH370,” their 2018 report read.
