It appears the two clubs may be able to solve each other's problems, with German media reporting that Bayern have proposed a swap deal between McTominay and Ryan Gravenberch. However, a potential swap has now been thrown into doubt with The Telegraph reporting that Bayern sources have played down Tuchel's interest in McTominay. They claim that Tuchel instead wants to prioritise a move for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah. It has been reported that Bayern have now formally approached Chelsea to start talks over Chalobah. Chalobah, 24, came through Chelsea's academy and has made a total of 63 appearances for the west Londoners to date.
