Dermot said: "We've got some heartbreaking and horrible news to share with you this morning. "One of the This Morning family members, Matty Lock, passed away this weekend." Holly added: "He was a much loved member of This Morning family and never failed to bring joy to our studio, with an infectious passion for technology and gadgets, which was truly unique." She added: "We send our deepest condolences to his family." Holly first paid tribute to Matty yesterday on social media. She wrote: "Everyone at This Morning is shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Matty Lock, aged just 19. 'He was a delightful young man, a joy to work with and his passion for vacuum cleaners and general mechanics was infectious. "His family came to the studio and they were so proud that he'd turned a childhood hobby into a career." Matty was a well loved member of the Labour Party in Sefton and Merseyside and was recently elected as a town councillor in Maghull. He was also a parish councillor in Lydiate.){kind=link}
