Anthonia was a student nurse when she applied for the show and admitted she did not foresee what was to come. In a candid chat, she said: 'I was a student nurse at the time when I applied and obviously we had just come off the back of Covid and how tense it was and I knew I was about to graduate so I wanted to do something different just before I go into my nursing career. 'I didn't expect to win, I just wanted to have fun and explore my artistry, the whole process has just been incredible. Each stage progressing shocked me." Despite admitting her love for nursing, the singer said that she would give music her best shot now she has been given such a big platform and confirmed she was remaining committed to pursuing a music career. She said: "I'm someone that likes to not do things in half and now that I won, I want to give my music the time to be what it is, but nursing is still one of my great passions. 'I love healthcare, I love caring for people and helping them through whatever it is that's going on in a holistic way. I don't know what the future holds but I think I will be involved in healthcare in some way, but for now it's music music music.'
